We took to Colchester Castle Park with a stall next to Holly Trees Museum to raise awareness fof Dyslexia Awareness Week 2025. We spoke to many people, teachers supporting a school trip, grandparents, parents, students and individuals who shared their stories and concerns. It was good to be able to direct people to the website resources personally and help where we could.

This year the BDA has themed the week with a focus on the voices of young people with dyslexia – their stories, challenges, and successes. By “raising the volume,” they want to make sure their experiences are heard loud and clear in schools, families, workplaces, and beyond.
